Portland Farmers Market

An outdoor market offering fresh foods from local companies. Alma sells chocolate at the market from April to the end of October, except for very hot or rainy days. Open Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Product Availability

Our website lists products that are generally available from Alma chocolate. Enjoy the pretty pictures, fill out our order form then give us a call or email so that we can take care of your order. We do not currently have an on-line shopping cart as we make things in such small quantities that we wish to speak to you personally to ensure that we can get you what you want in a timely manner. That said, from time to time products are out of stock or temporarily unavailable as we do not keep large quantities of stock. We can usually ship your order within a few days although an order placed a week in advance will ensure that your order will arrive when you wish.

Shipping

Generally, we ship via 2-day express mail service. During warmer months, it is necessary for shipments to be sent express or overnight using gel packs and insulation.

When temperatures are above 70° F (mid-May through October) or anytime your local temperature is above 70°, we recommend that orders are sent via express or overnight mail, Monday through Thursday, with gel packs and insulation. If the destination is above 70° and you have chosen to send via ground, Alma is not responsible if chocolates arrive melted and we will not provide a refund.

All orders require a delivery signature. This means you assume all risk. We will not be responsible if no one is home to sign for the package. If no one is available to sign for the package, the express mail service may make further attempts to redeliver. Alma chocolate is not liable for any damage to the product after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us.

At this time we can ship only to addresses within the United States. Residents of Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges.

Allergy Information

All Alma chocolate products may contain traces of nuts, including, but not restricted to, peanut, hazelnut, almond, pistachio and/or walnuts. They may also contain traces of dairy, dairy protein and/or gluten. Any person with allergies, intolerance or any other medical conditions brought about by the consumption of any chocolate/candy products that contain such ingredients are advised not to consume Alma chocolates. Doing so is at their own risk.
